Teach CCSS with How Far I’ll Go from Moana! Use this short 3 minute song to teach a ton of CCSS standards. Compare how Moana sees her future and how her people see their future. Discuss the meaning of the words horizon, role and roll. Explore the concept of motivation and also students are as adventurous as Moana. Finally, identify visuals in the music video to help improve understanding of the lyrics.
