These movie guides are excellent and have worked really well in my health and leadership classes. They spark thought‑provoking conversations and help my middle school students share insightful, meaningful responses. The questions are clear and easy to follow, making it a great tool for deeper learning.
This resource is thoughtfully designed and user‑friendly, making it easy for educators to implement in their classrooms right away. It offers clear instructions and engaging materials that effectively support student learning on the topic.
I used the Rudy Movie Guide during our “Great Students Demonstrate Respect, Responsibility, and Resiliency” unit. The guide’s questions and worksheets helped students connect with the movie’s themes and reflect on these important character traits. It sparked meaningful discussions and encouraged students to think about how they can demonstrate respect, responsibility, and resiliency in their own lives. A powerful and engaging resource for character education.
This Cool Runnings Movie Guide was a good break from traditional lessons for my special education students. Using the movie as a learning tool kept them engaged while practicing comprehension and critical thinking skills. The questions and worksheets were well‑designed to complement the film and encouraged meaningful discussion. A useful resource for mixing up the routine and supporting varied learning styles.
I used this educational product with my middle school students and was genuinely impressed with how engaged they became. The content was age‑appropriate, well‑structured, and aligned with our curriculum goals. It encouraged critical thinking and problem‑solving, and the interactive elements kept students motivated throughout. I also appreciated how easy it was to integrate into my lesson plans. Highly recommended for any educator looking to enhance student learning in a fun and meaningful way.
We read the book together and then watched the movie, and we used this resource when we read the book. Although the students were not as motivated to work in addition to listening to the story, when we watched the movie this packet gave them a clearer understanding of what was going on and also the differences in the book and the movie. I was very thankful to have this resource as we went through the book.
Great resource to use when teaching Zones of Regulation. Adapted some materials to meet my lessons goals and the needs of my students.
I used this resource with my Sociology class while watching the documentary 13th on Netflix. It was incredibly helpful, as it provided pause points throughout the film with questions that guided student thinking and discussion. This approach worked much better for my students than trying to recall everything after the documentary ended. While some of the questions were a bit complex—especially for students whose first language isn’t English (though they are fluent)—a quick explanation was all they needed to understand and stay engaged. Overall, this was a fantastic resource that really supported comprehension and critical thinking.
I recently purchased a teacher resource focused on movie questions, and it has exceeded my expectations! This resource offers a range of thought-provoking questions, making it easy for educators to foster meaningful discussions in the classroom.
I purchased this activity for my students, and I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome! The students were fully engaged from start to finish, and it was amazing to see them so excited about the content. The activity was not only fun but also perfectly aligned with our learning objectives. It provided an excellent opportunity for students to actively apply what they'd learned in a practical way, reinforcing key concepts while keeping them engaged throughout. I highly recommend this for educators looking for a dynamic and effective learning experience!
Every resource from TeacherTravis is excellent. I always know I will get great results from my students and can rely on the content to be considerate and standards-based.
After finishing Ancient China, I had one week left before Spring Break. I decided to watch Mulan, but I needed a purpose for the movie. I bought this resource and it was perfect. It went well with the ELA class (they were working on poetry) and the discussions were fascinating. Students listened waiting for the following question to be answered. They would even tell me "Mrs. Ashley, we can answer number ###, now" and I would stop the video so they could write. Then we would discuss what they wrote. The poem at the end was icing on the cake! I will definitely be using this resource again next year.
Like always another well-written and engaging movie guide. At this point I'm not sure how many I have bought but this one is perfect to have on hand as many students haven't seen this version of the movie. It gave way to a lot of good conversation and research ideas.
My 8th graders watched this movie after our genetics unit (with signed permission forms). We had already learned about Down Syndrome from a science perspective, but I wanted them to see that people with DS are able to live full lives, and to also see some of the challenges that our system can present. This movie guide was more than just a fill-in-the-blank type. It asked thought-provoking questions that made my students actually think and let me see a peek into their thoughts and emotions about the movie. As a teacher, of course I loved that. Thanks for such a great resource!!
As I am a BIG fan of the series Liberty's Kids, I was excited to purchase and use this resource with students to reinforce the history from each episode. I used some as independent work for grades and some as discussion points. All are EXCELLENT RESOURCES!
I've been teaching Journalism and using this film for fifteen years; this is the BEST source I've found to help them navigate this complicated film!!! Great job!!
This Selena movie guide helped to endear Selena to my students and was excellent for Hispanic Heritage Month. The movie is old enough now that students don’t know the ending and are shocked and sad when the credits roll. Teacher Travis’ questions help my students to see and discuss issues in the film that are part of many people’s lives of Hispanic heritage in the United States and see a broader view of what it means to be Latino.
Easily adaptable and simple to implement into any current lesson plans. My students liked the resource and it really helped with driving their participation and engagement in my lesson. Easy to follow, understand, and imagine how to incorporate the resource into lessons from a teacher’s perspective too!
This is hands down the best movie guide I have used with my classes in all the years I have taught. I appreciate the part where you put the time in the movie that corresponds with the question. The students like that part because it helps them follow along better. This guide also helped them focus their comparison essays better. Thank you!
If you are showing this film you have to purchase this! Not only do the questions ensure the students are thinking critically to truly understand the film, but the visuals provided to understand the characters in the jury pool really help the students remember where each juror's mindset was during the trial. This is a great resource!
After 16 years of teaching Spanish, this is my first time teaching English. It has been an interesting transition! I was honestly dreading teaching Romeo and Juliet. I had just planned to watch this film and needed a resource to go along with it after the students had taken state testing. However, this resource blew my mind! … This kept my students actively engaged and they are now begging to read Romeo and Juliet! Thank you so much!!
All my colleagues know I LOVE great movie guides and these are by far the best. I have purchased some before but I like the setup of this brand.
Thank you for creating this viewing guide. I like to show this movie (even though it makes me want to boycott McDonald's every time I watch it) in my economics classes. Viewing guides make sure my students are paying attention!
This was the perfect activity to use with my freshmen while watching the most recent Romeo and Juliet movie. The questions on this guide were engaging and thought-provoking. This guide does more than just make sure they pay attention; it makes them think.
I used this for my AP Human Geography class. This would also be excellent for a health class. I use a lot of movie guides from this seller! I highly recommend!
Wonderful guided notes for the musical. It really helped my students slow down and reflect on key moments. I have also used this while I have a sub, and they enjoyed it as well, as it gave great talking points. I will definitely use this again!
I love the movie and the use of the questions makes the movie much more engaging. Students can relate since I teach high schoolers and we are in a state where one of the universities in the competition is too. So, it is relevant, and the questions give them purpose and understanding. Thank you for this; this is one of the best movie guides I have used with my classroom.
This resource is a personal favorite of mine. I like the organization and how the timestamps are included so that there is no doubt where a question answer is located. It is easy to forget just how young our students are, so being able to go back and watch things is helpful in explaining the events of this movie!
