- Week 12: Episodes #45-46, Engineering Failure Analysis, Engineering Design Review, then the cumulative Final.
- Compressed use: preserve the four-unit concept progression, assign selected weekly items, and use unit banks as major checkpoints.
- Modular use: teach only the weeks or units that match local engineering, STEM, physical science, or technology goals.
New Optional Video Companion (used with YouTube)
Use the free Classroom Video Guide Companion Chrome extension with these resources to automatically pause YouTube at question timestamps and display prompts during viewing. It can make whole-class, small-group, and independent video lessons easier to facilitate. The resources work normally without the extension.
Print and Digital Options
Every episode is designed for a digital/print ecosystem that can include digital Student Worksheets, print-friendly Student Worksheets, self-graded Google Forms quizzes, and Multiple Choice Quiz Print versions. Curriculum assessment banks likewise support digital or print assignment. Teachers can mix formats based on devices, class time, and local policy.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are the Crash Course videos included?
No. Videos are accessed separately through the public Crash Course Engineering playlist on YouTube.
Do I have to assign every assessment item?
No. Weekly, unit, and final files are deliberately item-rich banks. Teachers can assign the complete bank or select a practical subset.
Can this work for summer school, credit recovery, or long-term substitute plans?
Yes. The 12-week map can be compressed while preserving the four-unit progression and cumulative assessment structure.
Does this replace a full district engineering curriculum?
No. It is a structured supplemental curriculum built around the Crash Course Engineering video sequence. Teachers can add local labs, projects, design challenges, and district-required assessment work.
Is the optional Chrome extension required?
No. The Classroom Video Guide Companion is completely optional. All lesson files work normally without it.
