Five questions to ask before you choose the full curriculum
- Do I actually have 65 required class periods? The standard map uses 13 five-day weeks. If your class meets on a block schedule, convert the sequence by instructional periods rather than by calendar week.
- Will I use this as core supplemental structure or as selected review? The same materials can support a continuous sequence or selected topics, but your grading plan should match the use.
- Do my students need print, digital, or both? If device access changes by day, a parallel print/digital workflow matters more than a digital-only plan.
- How often do I want formal grades? Weekly assessments create frequent checkpoints; the three unit assessments are optional broader checks; the final is cumulative.
- Am I using this for AP review? If yes, plan additional textbook, primary-source, secondary-source, and argumentation work required by your AP program rather than treating a video companion as a complete AP course.
How to evaluate the final week
Many playlist plans become awkward at the end because the episode count does not divide evenly into five-day weeks. This one does not invent extra content just to fill time. Week 13 is:
- Day 1 — Episode #49
- Day 2 — Episode #50
- Day 3 — Synthesis Review
- Day 4 — Review and Mini Assessment
- Day 5 — Cumulative Final
That is a cleaner way to close a 50-episode sequence than stretching the course into a fourteenth week with an artificial extra lesson.
